Kendrick Lamar Fires Up the Stage at Concert in Austin

Kendrick Lamar, Sza, Schoolboy Q, and others made the crowds go wild at a concert in Austin, Texas. We arrived just at the beginning of Schoolboy Q’s set, which was then followed by Sza’s performance, to have Kendrick Lamar end the night. They played all their hits including Collard Greens, Humble, Love Galore, and Swimming Pools. We never sat down once! The artists would hype the crowd up and at some points the crowd would sing parts of their song for them!

Sza’s voice was beautiful to listen to and she seemed very natural on stage. She was right in-between two rappers so it was refreshing to hear her calming voice in the midst of such a hyped up atmosphere. Kendrick brought out artists that he featured in his songs to make it even more exciting. There were a lot of flashing lights and sometimes fire would shoot up on the stage! Towards the end of Kendrick, he had everyone turn on their flashlights for his song, Humble. When I turned around, it looked like there were a billion stars.

Everyone was so hype when he played that song because it is one of his most popular. All the other performers came to join him for the big finale at the end.
